Support relevant and targeted learning
Use the Skills for Agriculture framework to help design, review and strengthen agricultural courses and training programmes. By identifying the skills and levels that are relevant to your learners, you can align learning objectives and content with the capabilities needed in the agricultural sector.
The framework can also help you to:
- Review existing provision
- Identify areas where further learning opportunities are needed
- Clearly communicate the skills that learners can expect to develop through your training
The framework describes the skills required within agriculture globally. It sets out a common vocabulary to use when talking about those skills. We have already mapped a number of courses and other training opportunities to particular skills. We encourage training providers to do the same. By doing so, you can identify gaps in your provision, as well as help potential students to find the most appropriate course for them.
