Survelliance and Pest Status Determination

Surveillance and pest status determination is a self-paced online course developed in collaboration with the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) and the FAO elearning Academy. It introduces key concepts and practical approaches for designing and strengthening national pest surveillance systems, early detection mechanisms, monitoring activities, and systematic determination of pest status. The course is aimed at plant health practitioners, pest surveillance managers, NPPO (National Plant Protection Organization) staff and other stakeholders involved in phytosanitary reporting and response under international standards.
