Use the Skills for Agriculture framework to better understand the competencies of your team so you can move your team forward together.

  1. Identify the skills that are relevant to your team
  2. For each skill and each team member, identify the level at which that person is working (you might want to use the matrix below as a model)
  3. See where there are gaps in your team’s skills
  4. Find courses to help fill those gaps

In this example, we can see that the team has a big gap with Skill 3. This might then require some training or coaching to develop that skill across the team.

We can also see that Team member D might need some support to develop their skills to better fit the team.
